Manitoba First Nations
HIV/AIDS & STBBI
Working Group

Our Commitment to First Nations Health in Manitoba:
Focusing on HIV/AIDS and STBBI Challenges.

We are a dedicated collective committed to addressing the unique health challenges faced by First Nations communities in Manitoba, particularly in the areas of HIV/AIDS and Sexually Transmitted and Blood-Borne Infections (STBBI).

Why We Exist

The prevalence of HIV/AIDS & STBBI in First Nations communities is a pressing concern that requires specialized attention and culturally sensitive approaches.  Our existence is rooted in the need to holistically address these health issues, focusing on prevention, transmission, and care.

What We Do

In collaboration with First Nations health systems, MFNAWG develops and enhances a comprehensive range of programs. These initiatives span from education and advocacy to prevention and treatment, all designed to improve the health outcomes of First Nations people in Manitoba.
